Dapdong Cathedral in Incheon - Dapdong Cathedral had a cornerstone-laying ceremony held In 1889 to establish the site for the cathedral building on a hilltop in Dap-dong. The gothic-style cathedral was completed eight years later in 1897. The current Romanesque-style appearance was given to the cathedral in 1937, when the existing building was surrounded by a brick outer wall.
