The Illuminate Oregon City art project. Throughout 2014 the elevator will be illuminated with images of local scenes such at the falls, the bridge, river life, farmers markets, the rejuvenated downtown area and more. For the project the observation deck, tunnel entrance, and main shaft were re-painted with a combination of silver and white. New energy-efficient flood and blue accent lighting were installed along with new entry signage. Starts daily at dusk all year long (2014).
