The old Newfoundland Railway bed, Bonavista branch line. It was 88 miles, 142 km. long. It was narrow gauge tracks, at 3 ft. 6 inches wide (1067 mm.) The trails could be blown off the tracks with strong winds. Built between 1909 and 1911, closed in 1983. Now a recreation trail. Looking east.
