Roman Catholic Church of The Most Holy Redeemer - 173 East 3rd Street, NYC - 2008 . . . . Built in 1851 by the Redemptorist Fathers, this church once had a 250 feet high bell tower. Its height was somewhat reduced in a 1913 renovation. It is an impressive church which cannot be seen to full advantage because of its location on a narrow block.
