The Rose Hill Mill is a three story frame structure of mortise and tenon construction. Built in 1859 by Dr. J. W. Herring who named the mill. In 1887 the property was purchased by Dr. G.W.W.Hannah, a prominent Thomaston physician, and since that time has been known as Hannah's Mill.
